VOICEROID+ is the follow up version of the original VOICEROID software.

It has slight improvements over the original but otherwise functions the same. The interface is slightly different and the capabilities have been expanded.
All releases except Tohoku Zunko and Kotonoha Akane & Aoi are based on the first generation of the AITalk text-to-speech engine. Zunko is based instead on the newer AITalk II engine.
Despite being part of the VOICEROID+ series, the Kotonohas, based on AITalk 3, have the same features as those in the VOICEROID+ EX series, the successor to VOICEROID+.
